Oakland Wedding Photography – Dana & Dennis

Dana and Dennis’ wedding this weekend was like a homecoming for me! Both their ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of Hayward and their reception at the Wedgewood Banquet Center in Oakland are within a few minutes drive of Jack London Square. Now, Jack London Square is both the spot where Dana and Dennis’ engagement session took place and the location of a condo I lived in for a year while I was in college at Berkeley. Total homecoming!

This first photo was taken toward the end of their day. The reception was over and we went out on the golf course at dusk to take some bride and groom photos. All day I’d been thinking that Dennis had this really cool James Bond or Cary Grant thing going and Dana was so beautifully gorgeous – I wanted a photo that showed both – plus their fantastic connection as a couple.

After their reception, we went out on the golf course grounds for some last-look photos of Dana and Dennis before they left on their honeymoon.
