It’s no secret that I love Davis. There’s the wonderful downtown Davis area packed with restaurants, coffee places, art galleries, and boutique shops, all within an easy walk. Then there’s the UC Davis campus with the Arboretum, Putah Creek, interesting buildings, and a massive park-like setting with old oak trees. I’ll always love LA, my home town, but Davis is also a special place.

Especially when it comes to engagement sessions. There is just so much to choose from – textures, colors, activities, settings! There’s the urban, city atmosphere of downtown Davis and the natural environment of the Arboretum. So I was delighted when Jenna and Kraig picked Davis for their engagement session.

Allisyn and Drew were married at the House on the River in Shasta County, near Lake Shasta and Redding, California, surrounded by pine trees and mountains – two of my favorite things!

Here are a couple of my favorites from Allisyn and Drew’s bride-and-groom portrait session. These two were taken down at the river, just a short walk from their wedding ceremony.
